ORDER CANCELLATION / RIGHT TO CANCEL :

You have the right to cancel this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The cancellation period will expire after 14 days from the day on which you acquire,or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the last good (In compliance with articles L.221-18 and the French Consumer Code). 

In this case, the return shipping costs and the customs fees are at the expense of the buyer.

The right to cancel does not apply to the contracts for the supply of goods that are made to the consumer’s specifications or are clearly personalised.

To exercise the right to cancel, you must inform us (Le Jacquard Français SARL, 45 boulevard Kelsch, 88430, Gerardmer, France -  service.client@le-jacquard-francais.com  -   +33 (0)3 29 60 61 999 ) of your decision to cancel this contract by a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post, fax or e-mail). You may use the attached model cancellation form or you may use our  inline RMA form , but it is not obligatory.

To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of cancel before the cancellation period has expired.

EFFECTS OF CANCELLATION :

If you cancel this contract, we will reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (except for the supplementary costs arising if you chose a type of delivery other than delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract. We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.

You shall send back the goods or hand them over to us, without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired. You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods. You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

EXCHANGES :

  If the buyer seeks to exchange a product, the buyer must request for an authorization by  ,  within a period of 15 days upon receipt or picking up the product.  LE JACQUARD FRANCAIS  will in turn indicate the procedure to follow to return the product.

The product(s) must be sent back in its/their original packaging and sufficiently protected in order to not suffer damage during shipping.

The products that have been subject to personalization by the buyer (custom made) or those that have been used by the buyer cannot be exchanged.

WARRANTY :

All products supplied by Le Jacquard Français benefit from the legal guarantee of conformity (article L217-4 et seq. of the French Consumer Code) and the guarantee against hidden defects (articles 1641 et seq. of the French Civil Code), enabling the buyer to return defective products.

In the event of non-conformity of a product sold, it may be returned to the seller, who will take it back and replace it.

All claims or requests for replacement must be made via our contact page and within twenty-four months of delivery. Le Jacquard Français will inform you of the procedure to follow to return the product.

In the case of the return of a defective item, shipping costs will be free or refunded to the buyer.

The product(s) must be returned packaged and sufficiently protected so as not to be damaged in transit.

PRIVACY POLICY :

The personal data collected is subject to processing by the data controller Le Jacquard Français – 45 boulevard Kelsch – 88400 GERARDMER – France.

This data is collected as part of the management of your customer account and shall be used for the purposes of providing you with commercial news relating to our company.

It is intended for use by Le Jacquard Français, as well as by external service providers of the data controller.

It shall be stored for 3 years from the time last contact was made.

In accordance with the regulations applicable to personal data, you have a right to access, rectification, objection, restriction of processing, erasure and portability in respect of your data, which you may exercise via email to  service.client@le-jacquard-francais.com , or via mail to the following address: Le Jacquard Français – 45 boulevard Kelsch – 88400 GERARDMER – France, specifying your surname, first name and address and accompanied by a double-sided copy of your proof of identity.

In the event of a problem concerning the management of your personal data, you may file a complaint to the personal data protection officer (dpo.france@elis.com), to the French Data Protection Authority (CNIL) or to any other competent authority.

DISPUTE RESOLUTION :

The present terms and conditions of sale are governed by French law.

PERSONALIZATION :

Embroidered items cannot be returned or refunded.

For orders including one or more embroidered items, an additional 5 to 7 days must be added to the delivery time indicated.

GIFT CARD :

The e-gift card is sent directly to the recipient, on the defined date. It can be used in one or more times and for one year from the date of sending to the recipient, in the currency of purchase on our site only.

It can be used by entering the code received by email and can be completed by another payment method. It cannot be used for any other payment.

Once the gift card has been sent to the recipient, the gift cards cannot be exchanged or refunded, even partially (especially in case of loss, theft or expiry).

In the event of a refund of a product purchased with a gift card, you will receive a new gift card in the amount of the refund.

It is not eligible for a discount on the order.
